TeamJackal attracts international crew
TeamJackal is delighted to announce a new international addition to its regular crew compliment with the return of sail trimmer, Bob Seward. After a lengthy absence from the Bahrain Yacht Club racing arena, Bob has flown in especially to crew on Jackal for the 7th Cable & Wireless Open Regatta.
Bob's racing career spanned several decades of before-the-mast action before assuming the in-cockpit (and therfore more sociable) position of trimmer on Jackal. An international career has taken Bob south to the lucrative industrial zones of Dubai, but he remembers his commitment to the team fondly: " I couldn't just sit back, knowing that this important regatta was taking place, and missing the action," Bob comments. "After all, it's good to know that your skills are needed, so I arranged flights and accommodation to be with the team this weekend."
"Bob adds a real feeling of scruffyness to our overall image", Hamish McIntyre, TeamJackal bowman comments; "When he's racing as part of our team you can really feel that things are back as they were - disorganised, humorous and well, just kind of, like, cool."
TeamJackal are actively seeking sponsorship to enable regular visits from our international crew. For those interested please contact your local airline or mail cash, cheques, money orders or irrevocable bonds in virtually any denomination directly to TeamJackal. Pledges of support can be made by email to team@teamjackal.com
